The Waiting Game

Limbo: an intermediate, transitional, or midway state or place.

I really hate the waiting game. Particularly when neither of the available options are desirable. You see I have a kidney stone. It either needs to come out or be removed. Neither option is particularly enticing to me.

So my friends, I'm afraid we are at an impasse (pun intended). I'll continue wondering, waiting, anticipating, perfecting patience, and truthfully, dreading.

In between all of that, I'll remember how grateful I am that it is just a kidney stone and not a kidney tumor like my doctor suspected.

Yep, it's been an awesome week over here. (sarcasm intended)

I'm sorry. I hate kidney stones!! I hope everything goes okay and it gets out, one way or another, soon.

You are going to be the lucky one who passes that kidney stone with little to no pain! Don't you forget that!
